Reyel was referred to me by a member of my mastermind group and I am so grateful for the connection. I love that Reyel has turned her own experience into the power to help others. Through her Twitter account, she talks all about self-care as it pertains to love, highlighting that when we do not take care of ourselves, we are no good to others. I so enjoyed our candid conversation communication and killing self-pride. Reyel dropped numerous gems along the way so be sure to take some notes!
Unconditional. Most people doubt that there is such a thing as unconditional love. I mean, we are normally full of conditions. If you buy me this I’ll love you. If you keep a job I’ll love you. If you maintain your figure I’ll love you. But that really is not how love is supposed to go. Love is spiritual. Yet we make it so carnal. God instructed us to love one another, it was the greatest of all the instruction. He didn’t tell us that people had to earn it or work for it either, just that we should give it freely as his love is for us. So I thought to myself recently in my own relationship, what if I just loved you?
I didn’t realize I worked like I had a team until multiple people told me they thought I had one. I’m far from a one man band though, because the support of my friends and family means everything to the successes I’ve achieved so far. But in a formal capacity, I haven’t had any team outside of an intern since a month ago but I am certainly seeing the importance of having one.
